GHOSH
GHOSH
The Urdu word "ترائی" (tarāʼī) primarily means "irrigation" or "irrigated land." The Terai region is a lowland geography situated at the foothills of the Himalayas, and it spans across the north, and north-eastern part of India. This series of drawings is inspired by the forests and mush-lands of eastern Terai region in Bengal where I visited frequently at that time.
